Adriano Galliani has hit out at Massimiliano Allegri for his role in AC Milan's 5-1 friendly defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday, claiming that the coach made "serious mistakes" during the match.
Angel Di Maria had opened the scoring for the Spaniards midway through the first half before Robinho restored parity shortly after. However, the Rossoneri fell apart after the interval following a number of substitutions and were eventually beaten heavily.
The club's vice-president was not impressed with Allegri's decision to make nine changes over the course of the fixture, and ignored suggestions that the Blancos also fielded a weakened side at Yankee Stadium.
"Can you believe that? I am really p***ed. You simply cannot make nine changes in a game against Real Madrid," Galliani was quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport.
"The coach has made some serious mistakes and I will tell him just that.
"We are playing in New York in front of 60,000 people and all eyes are on this game.
"I don't care that [Jose] Mourinho made a lot of changes as well. Have you seen Madrid's bench..."
