Paolo Cannavaro: We want to bring the Supercoppa back to Naples
The former Parma player has revealed that the Azzurri are prepared for their upcoming showpiece match against Antonio Conte's side in Beijing and are targeting victory
The Napoli captain Paolo Cannavaro has stressed the importance of winning this weekend's Supercoppa match against Juventus and revealed that his side are fully preparing for victory."We are fully charged up for this final against Juventus. It is a game that has a lot of significance," he was quoted as saying by Tuttomercatoweb.com.
The 31-year-old inisisted that there is no great expectation ahead of Saturday's showdown despite his team's clear desire to win a trophy that has eluded Napoli since their last triumph in 1990.
"We want to bring the Supercoppa back to Naples. However, winning should not put us under any weight of expectation," he concluded.
The final between Juventus and Napoli takes place on August 11 and will be played at the Beijing National Stadium in Beijing.
