Ricky Alvarez agent rules out Inter departure: The possibility of such a deal taking place does not exist
The creative midfielder had been linked with a transfer away from the Nerazzurri, but his representative has ruled out a reported switch to Catania, as well as any other club
Ricky Alvarez's agent, Marcelo Simonian, has stressed that the attacking midfielder will not leave Inter this summer.A number of recent reports suggested that the Nerazzurri were ready to include the 24-year-old in a deal that would see Catania midfielder Alejandro Gomez move to the Giuseppe Meazza side, but the player's representative has ruled out an imminent departure.
"It's simply impossible that Ricky will move to Catania. The possibility of such a deal taking place does not exist," Simonian was quoted as saying by Itasportpress.
"Ricardo just wants to stay at Inter and enjoy a successful season."
Alvarez joined Inter from Velez Sarsfield for €11.75 million in the summer of 2011, and made 21 Serie A appearances in his first season in Milan.
