AC Milan defender Ignazio Abate has not held any talks with Paris Saint-Germain concerning a summer transfer, the player's agent has said.
Italian sources have suggested that the French capital club are not yet done shopping at San Siro and are considering a summer swoop for the 25-year-old full-back after previously signing Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in a combined €65 million deal.
Questioned about the stories, Abate's agent did not rule out a transfer for his client, but insisted PSG have not yet come knocking.
"We have not yet been approached by PSG," Andrea D'Amico told Sportitalia. "I have read the news in the papers, but there has been no contact from Paris.
"But the market will not be closed until August 31 ..."
The five-cap Italian, who made three appearances at Euro 2012, returned to Milan in 2009 after previously playing in the Rossoneri's youth sector, along with a handful of clubs on the peninsula.
