Bologna take Roger Carvalho on loan
The Brazilian centre-back made nine appearances in Serie A for Genoa last season but the Grifone decided against extending his stay at the Luigi Ferraris
Bologna have announced the signing of Roger Carvalho on loan from Tombense, with a view to a permanent transfer at the end of the season. The 25-year-old Brazilian spent the second half of last season on loan at Genoa but the Grifone did not take up their option to sign the centre-back permanently.
The Rossoblu have now pounced, announcing on their official website that Carvalho had linked up with his new team-mates on Tuesday evening and would be formally presented to the press the following day.
The defender, who has also previously enjoyed loan spells at Olivais e Moscavide and Guarani, made eight appearances for Genoa in Serie A last season.
