Cordoba: Lucio didn't mean it when he said Juventus have 30 titles

Former Inter defender Ivan Cordoba believes that Lucio did not mean it when he said that Juventus had won 30 Serie A titles at a press conference over the weekend.

The Brazilian, who left the Nerazzurri for the Turin club this summer, created controversy by siding with Old Lady president Andrea Agnelli in the debate over the Bianconeri being stripped of two Scudetti for their part in the Calciopoli scandal.

However, his former team-mate is not reading too much into Lucio's comments, and feels that the former Bayern Munich player will always be remembered fondly at San Siro.

"Lucio has been our team-mate and he will forever be in our memories for what he has done for us," Cordoba told reporters.

"He has our affection for what he's done. I know him very well, and I know that what he said is not actually how he feels about it. He doesn't really mean what he said."
