Roma have confirmed on their official website that they have secured the services of Michael Bradley from Chievo for a fee of €3.75 million. The versatile midfielder has signed a contract which would see him stay in the Italian capital until 2016.
New Roma coach Zdenek Zeman was keen to add some fresh blood to his midfield, and has now got the reinforcements he was after.
The 24-year-old Bradley started his professional career at MetroStars and also wore the jerseys of Heerenveen, Borussia Monchengladbach and Aston Villa before joining Chievo in the summer of 2011.
He immediately became a key player at the Serie A side, and has now earned himself a transfer to Roma on the back of a handful of good performances last term.
Meanwhile, Romanian youngster Adrian Stoian has moved from Roma to Chievo as part of the deal. The Flying Donkeys have paid €0.5m for 50 per cent of the 21-year-old's rights.
