The Slovenian stresses he is not afraid of the threat posed by the Brazilian between the sticks, and regards the significance surrounding the No.1 jersey as "not important"Samir Handanovic has asserted that he will have no qualms if Julio Cesar remains at Inter this summer.
The Slovenia international joined the Nerazzurri earlier in the month from Udinese, and was immediately expected to replace the veteran custodian, who experienced a dip in form in his last two seasons at the Giuseppe Meazza.
However, Handanovic claims he is not paying attention to speculation surrounding his Brazilian colleague, telling Tuttosport: "There is no problem if Julio Cesar stays. I will continue to work and behave as a professional.
"If I want Cesar's No.1 shirt? That is not important to me. I have had shirts with many different numbers on them."
Handanovic has been allocated the No.21 shirt at Inter.
