Vidal: Juventus want to win all competitions
By Stefan Coerts
Jul 11, 2012 5:35:00 PM
The Chile international is full of ambition ahead of the 2012-13 campaign, and has insisted he is ready to fight for his place in the new season
Arturo Vidal is brimming with ambition ahead of the new campaign as he wants to win all competitions with Juventus. The Bianconeri pipped AC Milan to the Serie A title last term, while also making it to the Coppa Italia final, and Vidal is determined to do even better this season.
"We did really well last year and it won’t be easy to go one better. We’ll also be playing in the Champions League. There are many important competitions ahead of us and we want to win them all," Vidal was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
Vidal then went on to discuss Juve's recent acquisitions, and stressed that he is pleased to see the Old Lady getting stronger ahead of the new season rather than worry about his own position.
"The competition for places doesn’t scare me, it’s the overall strengthening of the team that counts. I’m ready to get going again and give my best for the team."
Vidal made 33 Serie A appearances last term, scoring seven goals in the process.
