Fiorentina set €30 million asking price for Juventus target Jovetic
The Tuscans are reluctant to sell their star attacker, but have admitted that they could be tempted to cash in on the forward if the right offer comes in
Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has admitted that the Viola are ready to sell Stevan Jovetic if an offer in the region of €30 million comes in.Goal.com revealed earlier on Tuesday that Juventus are keen to lure the Montenegro international to Turin this summer, and have already made initial contact over Jovetic's availability.
Although Fiorentina are keen to hold on to the 22-year-old, Prade has now stated the club might be tempted to let go of Jovetic if the right bid comes in.
"We have always said that we do not want to sell him. However, we have an agreement with the player that we will consider offers above a certain figure," Prade stated to Sport Italia.
"We will only sit down and discuss offers above €30m. He has the potential to become a top player like [Roma's Francesco] Totti. We have not yet received any offers for Stevan, though."
Jovetic has a contract with Fiorentina that runs until June 2016.
