The 22-year-old has been linked with a host of Europe's top clubs but the Viola have now issued a statement on their website insisting they have no intention of letting him leave
It has been claimed that the Montenegro international is keen to leave the Artemio Franchi this summer and the Viola director Gianfranco Teotino subsequently intimated that the club would not stand in his way.
However, Fiorentina have now moved to kill the constant speculation surrounding the forward's future by insisting that they have no intention of selling their most prized asset.
"In relation to reports in the media about Stevan Jovetic, patron Andrea Della Valle insists that the player is not on the market," a statement on the Serie A side's website read.
Jovetic joined Fiorentina from Partizan in 2008 and although he has had his injury problems, the 22-year-old attacker is regarded as one of the most exciting young players currently plying his trade in Italy.
