Sebastian Giovinco will return to Juventus, says agent

The Italy international is bound to return to the Bianconeri, according to his representative, who insisted that his client will not be offered as makeweight in another deal

Parma striker Sebastian Giovinco will return to Juventus in the summer, his agent has revealed.

The future of the Italy international, who is co-owned by Juventus and Parma, has been a hot topic of debate in recent times after he enjoyed a positive first season at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio revealed earlier in the month that the Nerazzurri were interested in Giovinco and claimed that explorary talks had already taken place.

The diminutive attacker's representative has also seemingly ruled out the possibility that his client will be used as makeweight in a deal for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani.

"He will return to Juventus to stay, he will not be used as a bargaining chip, especially after the last two seasons that he had," Andrea D'Amico told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"There is no doubt about this."

Italian sources claim that Juventus have agreed to pay a fee in the region of €11 million to purchase the remaining 50 per cent of Giovinco's contract.
