The Brazil international has been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer, but the Italian trainer claims the Rossoneri will most likely keep their star defender

The centre-back is being strongly linked a move to Barcelona this summer, and is widely recognised as one of the best players in his position.
However, the 66-year-old insists the Brazilian is highly regarded in Milan and is therefore not envisaging the stopper leaving the Rossoneri any time soon.
“Thiago Silva is the best centre-back in the world and Barca have never had someone like him,” Sacchi told Mas Esports in Spain.
“He has great quality, can play the ball, defend, is remarkably quick, good in the air and a solid professional. Basically, he has everything.
“I don’t think Milan can deprive themselves of someone like Thiago, as that would be a betrayal of the Rossoneri fans. I doubt they’ll sell him.
“Besides, the Rossoneri already turned down an offer from Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid two years ago,” he confessed.
Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be in the market for the 27-year-old, with reports claiming that the Ligue 1 giants are preparing a lucrative proposal.
