Nainggolan hints he is 'ready' to join Juventus
The Cagliari midfielder reveals the Bianconeri are the frontrunners to acquire his signature, but does not rule out the possibility of moving to either of the Milan clubs
Radja Nainggolan has hinted that he could be closing in on a move to Juventus after claiming he has been offered a contract by the Old Lady. The Belgium international has been tipped to leave the Rossoblu this summer and his transfer situation has reportedly been monitored by a number of top European clubs in recent months.
But while the 24-year-old suggested he would be open to a move to Turin, he also declared his admiration for their Serie A rivals Inter and Milan, where he feels he would receive more playing time.
"Let's say that on Monday, my agent showed me the contract from Juve," Everything is ready. But there are two things that can prevent the transfer: the interest of other clubs and the transfer fee," Nainggolan told Belgian newspaper Derniere Heure.
"If Inter come in - where [Esteban] Cambiasso and [Dejan] Stankovic are not the youngest - it changes things.
"I might have more playing time. Milan are losing three midfielders and maybe [Mathieu] Flamini."
The comments mark a turnaround from Nainggolan's prior admission that he would be more willing to make a move abroad rather than stay in Italy, but he could still leave the peninsula as he refused to name the identity of a particular club in the mix.
He continued: "All these clubs have been informed. But Juventus and another club that I cannot name are the most concrete."
The Antwerp-born ace is expected to start for Belgium when they take on England in an international friendly at Wembley on Saturday.
