The player's representative has admitted that the wing-back's name came up in a conversation with Rossoneri officials, but denied a switch to San Siro is in the offing
The player's representative was spotted meeting with Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani and sporting director Ariedo Braida and that immediately prompted speculation that the club are looking to resolve their long-standing deficiencies down the left-hand side by signing the versatile Partenopei full-back.
However, Roberto La Florio insists that the topic of discussion was another one of his clients, Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy, and not Dossena.
"Milan already have a number of big names in this part of field," the agent told RadioSport24.
"I had a nice conversation with Galliani and Braida regarding El Shaarawy and obviously the general conversation slipped onto to Dossena, but there was no real offer.
"[It was] a simple conversation due to the fact that Dossena is a great player and, naturally, [because] I was seen out with the directors of Milan, the story has come from this."
Wing-back Dossena joined Napoli from Liverpool in 2010 and has regularly featured on the left-hand side of the Partenopei's midfield.
