thumbnail Hello,

The Spanish trainer has come under fire, following the Giallorossi's disappointing performances in recent weeks, but he still has the full support of his players

Roma midfielder Rodrigo Taddei has defended head coach Luis Enrique in the wake of their 2-2 Serie A draw against Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.

The Giallorossi are effectively out of the race for Champions League qualification, following their disappointing performances in recent weeks, and Luis Enrique has received his fair share of criticism for the team's poor form.

Nevertheless, Taddei feels that the former Spain international deserves respect, and added that the team has a good relationship with the 41-year-old.

"Luis Enrique deserves to be treated with respect. He's a great guy and a good coach," Taddei was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"The team has an excellent rapport with him."

Roma currently sit seventh in the Serie A table with only three more games to go.
