'I know that my time will come at Inter' - Guarin

The Colombian midfielder is not fazed by the lack of playing time he has had at the club and remains upbeat about the chances of making his mark in Serie A
Inter loanee Fredy Guarin is confident that he will have the chance to prove himself at the Serie A club before the end of the season.

The Colombia international signed for the Nerazzurri in January on a six-month loan with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the season.

A calf problem has restricted him to just two appearances for the Italian giants, but the 25-year-old believes that he will be able to show his true colours for the club.

"I feel good, I am getting better every day," he told A tu per tu. "I keep working hard to get back to full fitness, so that I can make the difference and help the team.

"I am waiting for this time to come. I am here for the team. I want to show that I can do well here and I will.

"My time will come, you will see."

Earlier in the month, Guarin, who has a contract with Porto until 2014, indicated that he wanted to remain at Inter beyond the end of the season.

The midfielder then highlighted the importance of Wednesday's Serie A contest against Udinese as both clubs look to break into the top three.

"It is a very important game for us, as indeed it is for them," he noted. "We have the chance to climb the table, and they could be three big points in trying to achieve our target of third place.

"We must win and we will do everything we can to do so."
