The Bianconeri star has an expiring contract at his current club, and his former team-mate is hopeful that he can convince the attacker to join the Sicilian outfitPalermo attacker Fabrizio Miccoli wants Juventus forward Alessandro Del Piero to join the Sicilians in the summer transfer window.
The 37-year-old has an expiring contract with the Bianconeri and the Turin club have already announced that they will not offer him a new deal. Del Piero has been linked with several MLS sides, while Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be keeping tabs on the forward.
Nevertheless, Miccoli is hopeful that the former Italy international will stay in Serie A as he intends to lure Del Piero to the Stadio Renzo Barbera.
"I will try to convince him to come to Palermo," Miccoli said in an interview with Sky Sport Italia.
"Life is good at Palermo and I don't think he will ask for a huge contract. I would even be more than happy to give him my No.10 jersey if he joins us."
