Gago: My future depends on Real Madrid as well as Roma
The Argentine's season-long stay in the Eternal City is set to come to an end but the midfielder is hoping to sign a permanent deal with the Giallorossi

The Argentina international joined the Giallorossi on loan from Los Blancos last summer and he is scheduled to return to the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the current campaign.
Gago is keen to extend his stay at the Stadio Olimpico and Roma are confident of agreeing a deal with Madrid for the midfielder, but he admits that nothing has been decided yet.
"I have no problem [with remaining in the Italian capital] but that does not depend only on me," he is quoted as saying by VoceGiallorossa.it. "There are two other parties involved: Roma and Real."
Whether he ends up signing a permanent deal with the Giallorossi or not, Gago is desperate to help Luis Enrique's side qualify for next season's Champions League by finishing third in Serie A.
"Mathematically, we can do it and must seize this opportunity," the former Boca Juniors man declared.
"There are still eight games left and we must take one match at a time. I have played in the Champions League and I know how important it is."
Roma are currently sixth in the standings, four points behind third-placed Lazio ahead of this weekend's meeting with Lecce.
