Mohamed Sissoko has revealed that he would dearly love to see Alessandro Del Piero join him at Paris Saint-Germain next season.
The Mali international spent just over three years playing alongside the legendary Juventus No.10 in Turin before departing for the French capital last summer.
However, Sissoko is now hoping that PSG's rumoured interest in signing Del Piero, who is to leave the Bianconeri in the summer, materialises into a move for the former Italy attacker.
"I had the chance to play with Del Piero at Juventus," the midfielder explained during a Q&A session on his club's official website.
"He's a great player and also a great guy. I think he could still bring a lot to a team like PSG."
Meanwhile, Sissoko admitted that he is enjoying life at the Parc des Princes under former AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti.
However, the former Liverpool man is quick to acknowledge the work done by the Italian's predecessor, Antoine Kombouare, in propelling PSG to the summit of Ligue 1.
"[Ancelotti] is a renowned coach, who arrived with his own ideas and plenty of motivation," Sissoko enthused. "It is important to have a coach of this calibre.
"However, do not forget the work of Antoine Kombouare in the first six months of the season."
Sissoko, who has been capped 28 times by his country, joined PSG on a three-year contract last July.
