The daughter of the Rossoneri owner Silvio Berlusconi is currently dating the Brazilian forward, who rejected the opportunity to move to Paris during the January transfer windowAC Milan director Barbara Berlusconi has revealed that she played no part in the collapse of Alexandre Pato's proposed move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Berlusconi's boyfriend appeared set to depart for Paris in January after the Rossoneri accepted a bid from the Qatari-owned French club for the Brazilian.
However, Pato then surprised many by rejecting the move and then publicly reiterating his commitment to Milan, prompting speculation that he had decided to stay in order to remain close to Berlusconi.
However, the 26-year-old daughter of club owner Silvio has now insisted that she had no influence over the outcome of the talks.
"I deliberately kept out of negotiations with PSG for Pato," Berlusconi told La Repubblica.
"The decisions made by my father and [Milan CEO] Adriano Galliani were triggered by technical and economic assessments."
Pato has been out of action since suffering a muscle strain in last month's Coppa Italia win over Novara, but the forward has resumed training this week and could feature in Wednesday night's Champions League last 16 first leg clash with Arsenal at San Siro.
