Stephan El Shaarawy has been preferred to new signing Maxi Lopez in the AC Milan starting line-up for Wednesday night's Serie A encounter with Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.
The teenage striker lines up alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with Robinho having been moved back into the trequartista role and Urby Emanuelson dropped to the bench, where he is joined by former Catania forward Lopez.
Elsewhere, Thiago Silva returns to the heart of the defence, while Massimo Ambrosini slots back into the midfield in place of Clarence Seedorf.
Lazio, meanwhile, have been rocked by the loss of forward Miroslave Klose to injury. The German's absence results in a start for Brazilian midfielder Matuzalem, while Tommaso Rocchi will start up front on his own.
The Biancocelesti had no other viable striking options, Libor Kozak and Emiliano Alfaro both currently out of action.
Elsewhere. Lorik Cana is out for six weeks with a back injury, while Stefano Mauri is still sidelined with a thigh problem.
