Juventus striker Amauri has admitted that he would to get back to playing football, and hopes that a move to Fiorentina can be sewn up quickly.
The ex-Palermo striker has not made any appearances for the Turin giants since Antonio Conte took charge in the summer, and is actively looking for a new club in the January transfer window.
The Stadio Artemio Franchi outfit are in the market for a new forward after selling Alberto Gilardino to Genoa, and have earmarked the 31-year-old as a potential replacement.
Amauri is eager to get his future resolved and would relish the opportunity to join Fiorentina.
"I hope that the deal will be closed quickly," the Brazil-born attacker told Corriere dello Sport.
"I'm training hard and waiting to move as soon as possible; the two clubs are talking about it," he admitted.
Amauri had turned down moves to a number of clubs during the summer to try to fight for a place in the Juventus starting XI, but is now keen to get back to playing regular first-team football.
