Having missed the 3-1 win over Atalanta, the hard-working 2006 World Cup winner is desperate to be there against their eternal rivals from across town
More than just city bragging rights are at stake for the Serie A club as they are level on eight points with Edy Reja's men in the league table.
Despite suffering an ankle injury in the 1-0 win over Parma last month, Perrotta feels ready to race back to action, hoping he does not miss a thing.
"My ankle is better and I have been able to train fully for the past two days," the midfielder told Forzaroma.info.
"The coach is testing me out, but I do not know if I will play in the derby.
"However, I feel ready for it. I want to play."
Perrotta was forced to miss Roma's last league match which ended in a 3-1 win over Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico.
