According to the team's official website, the 32-year-old playmaker has picked up a knee injury during a practice session on Saturday.
The club stated: "During the practice game which brought the workout to a close, Andrea Pirlo sustained a bruise on his left knee."
"The midfielder’s conditions will be evaluated over the next few hours, but his name is included in the squad named by Antonio Conte."
Juventus have also confirmed that Mirko Vucinic returns to the 21-man squad after serving a one-game suspension while Paolo De Ceglie misses out on the squad following a knock in training.
