Inter CEO Ernesto Paolillo has discounted speculative claims Giampaolo Pazzini could be on his way to Real Madrid in January.
Widespread rumours in Italy over the last week have suggested scouts from Madrid have been watching Pazzini in action.
The Italian has been in prolific form since joining the Milan-based club from Sampdoria last winter, bagging 12 goals in 19 Serie A appearances. However, Paolillo has moved the assure there is no plan to sell their star striker.
"Pazzini to Real Madrid? These are absurd rumours," he explained to Tuttomercatoweb.com.
"There is a championship to play for and we are only thinking about this."
Inter welcome Napoli to San Siro in Serie A on Saturday night. Pazzini should be available for action after he said he was feeling well enough to play following the knock he sustained in the 3-2 Champions League win over CSKA Moscow.
