The Italy international appears to have recovered from a blow to his ankle as he eyes a return to action at the weekendInter striker Giampaolo Pazzini is hoping to feature in Saturday's Serie A clash against Napoli at San Siro.
The Italy international suffered a knock against CSKA Moscow in Inter's 3-2 Champions League win in Russia on Tuesday.
Pazzini was forced off after he took a blow to his ankle and was replaced by Mauro Zarate, who won the game for his side.
Initial reports suggested he could be out for some time, however, the forward admits he may be available sooner than expected.
"The ankle is feeling much better now compared to how it felt at the end of the game against CSKA," Pazzini told ANSA.
"I will do all I can to be there against Napoli and there are still two days to go until the game."
Pazzini then commented on Napoli who will be without Edinson Cavani due to injury.
"Cavani is an important loss for them, but [Napoli coach] Walter Mazzarri will be preparing his side to cope in his absence."
Both teams are in good form following recent wins in the Champions League, with Napoli beating Villarreal 2-0 in their Group A clash.
