Roma set sights on Simon Kjaer, Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and Casemiro - report
The capital outfit have had a busy close-season, but are showing no signs of slowing down as they have targeted three more players to complete their squad for the new campaign
Despite already securing the likes of Maarten Stekelenburg, Bojan Krkic and Erik Lamela, sporting director Walter Sabatini is in no mood to curb the spending after identifying a further three players to complete their new-look squad.
The publication reports that a deal to bring Denmark international Kjaer is progressing smoothly and there could be more activity in the coming days.
In addition, striker Osvaldo is being lined up for a return to Italy with Luis Enrique's side, after they lost Jeremy Menez and Mirko Vucinic this summer, and Roma want the Italo-Argentine to partner Bojan in attack.
The last player on the shortlist is in-demand young midfielder Casemiro, who has been linked to a number of top European outfits recently, and a meeting with club representatives and the player's agent has been scheduled in the coming days.
Roma lost 3-0 to Valencia at the Mestalla on Friday, emphasising their status as a work in progress.
