The player's representative has excluded an exit from San Siro as he backs his client to remain following reports of a move to La Liga
The Spanish giants have continued to be associated with the 29-year-old Brazil international since last year when a €35 million move to Spain failed to materialise.
With his contract expiring next June, speculative reports claimed Inter were ready to cash in to avoid losing him on a free transfer in the future.
But Calenda has declared his position and insists Maicon will stay at San Siro.
"At the moment there are no negotiations taking place," he is quoted as saying by Il Corriere dello Sport.
"Maicon has an important contract with Inter and he will remain there."
The situation remains somewhat unclear, however, as on Monday Antonio Caliendo, who also claims to be the player's agent, said a move to Real Madrid was on standby.
Maicon is in Mano Menezes Brazil squad for the Copa America next month. His side meet Venezuela on July 3.
