Alexandre Pato: I will never leave AC Milan
The Brazilian international swears his allegiance to the Serie A champions and reveals his desire to become a club legend
AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato says that last season's Serie A title triumph was just the beginning of his success with the club as he looks forward to winning more trophies next term.He also pledged to remain at San Siro for the remainder of his career as he looks to carve out legendary status in Milan.
''At Milan, we want to win everything. I want to become a pillar of this club and will never leave here," he said in an interview with Don Balon.
"I want to become a symbol of Milan's history, becoming one of those players who left great memories and trophies. I have a contract until 2014 and I want to remain with Milan for as long as possible, at least until they get tired of me,'' he added.
"Now I want to continue to win because the league is just the beginning of a string of triumphs. Now we are waiting for Italian Super Cup, the Serie A and the Champions League and I want to win everything. I'd also like to play at the World Cup and will do everything to play the most important games.''
The 21-year-old then went on to praise coach Massimiliano Allegri, saying: "With him there now, there is a great feeling. He has shown great character.
"He's a born winner and he showed that by coming to Milan and winning the Scudetto in his first season."
The forward has netted 57 goals in 124 appearances since joining the Milan in 2007 from Internacional.
