Inter president Massimo Moratti is unconcerned by rumours linking star players Samuel Eto’o, Wesley Sneijder and Maicon with a move away from the club in the summer transfer window.
Eto’o recently revealed that he is considering a move to the Premier League, while Sneijder has caught the attention of Manchester United and Maicon is being courted by Real Madrid.
However, Moratti is confident that the trio will stay put, telling La Gazzetta dello Sport: “All I can say regarding the transfer rumours about Eto’o, Sneijder and Maicon is that I have spoken to them and they have all told me that they do not want to leave the club.”
The chief added that the 2010 Champions League winners are closely monitoring the developments in the transfer market, with a view to strengthening their squad as they attempt to retain the Serie A title.
“It is clear that we are very focused on everything that is happening on the market now. Not just on players who could leave us, but also on players who could potentially join us.”
Inter have yet to complete their first signing of the summer transfer window, but are reportedly close to locking up Cesena’s Yuto Nagatomo on a permanent deal.
