The versatile Brazilian, who can operate at either left-back or further forward, looks set for a move to Turin after the Italian giants met the required asking price
Olympique Lyonnais' versatile Brazilian Michel Bastos looks set to leave France to join Serie A outfit Juventus, according to a report in L'Equipe, which would put an end to a long-running transfer saga that also saw the player linked with Inter.
The newspaper claims that Juventus have coughed up the transfer fee of €15 million requested by the seven-time Ligue 1 champions and the move will provide Lyon with some much-needed funds to strengthen their squad as they bid to return to the top of French football.
Bastos, who joined Lyon from Lille back in 2008, would follow club captain Jeremy Toulalan out of the door after the defensive midfielder moved to ambitious Spanish side Malaga.
Meanwhile, a potential replacement for Toulalan could be Nancy's young central midfielder Samba Diakite, who is being chased by both Lyon and Marseille according to L'Equipe.
Nancy would reluctantly sell the player for a fee of around €8m for the 22-year old, who had an impressive season for the club and made 23 appearances in the league.
