Veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi could be on his way out of Serie A champions AC Milan in the summer transfer window as fellow Italian side Fiorentina have shown an interest in signing the attacker, Diretta News reports.
The Artemio Franchi side are in the market for a new attacker because of the possible departure of Alberto Gilardino and they have reportedly earmarked the 37-year-old as the perfect replacement.
Inzaghi signed a one-year extension at San Siro last month after spending much of the 2010-11 campaign on the sidelines due to a knee injury, but faces stiff competition for minutes next season from the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alexandre Pato.
Therefore, he could decide to move on, and the prospect of regular first-team action at this late stage of his career could tempt him to join the Tuscans.
Inzaghi has made well over 250 official appearances for Milan in the past decade and has become a fan favourite at San Siro since joining from Juventus in 2001.
