Schalke attacker Jefferson Farfan has attracted the interest of Juventus.Juventus with his good performances for Bundesliga strugglers Schalke in the 2010-11 campaign, a report in Tuttosport reads.
La Vecchia Signora are eager to add some more depth to their attack in the summer transfer window and sporting director Giuseppe Marotta supposedly sees the 26-year-old Farfan as the perfect signing.
Farfan started his professional career with Alianza Lima and also wore the jersey of PSV before joining Schalke in the summer of 2008.
The versatile attacker has since developed into a key player at the Koenigsblauen and his good performances in Gelsenkirchen haven't gone unnoticed elsewhere.
Clubs such as Valencia and Wolfsburg have also been linked with a move for Farfan. The forward's contract with Schalke runs until the summer of 2012, but an offer in the region of €12 million could be enough to lure Farfan away from his current club.
