Ansaldi has been in impressive form over the past few seasons for Rubin, representing the Tatar club in both the Champions League and the Europa League.
The 24-year-old joined Ruby in 2008 from Newell's Old Boys for €3.6 million and has since earned his first cap for Argentina and won a RPL Championship medal twice in that time.
The Rossoneri are looking to strengthen their back line for the 2011-12 campaign, and see Ansaldi as the ideal addition, but with his contract not due to expire until 2013, he won't be available cheap, with his versatility proving invaluable for Kurban Berdyev's men.
The Serie A giants have also been linked with a Bosman transfer swoop for Roma's Philippe Mexes at the end of the current campaign.
