Sissoko out for season, Chiellini in doubt for Juventus - Milan...

Mohamed Sissoko will no longer play for Juventus, at least for this season, after undergoing knee surgery in France.

The Mali midfielder had been troubled by persistent problems to his left knee which have distrupted his season.

A statement on the club's official website reads:

"This morning Momo Sissoko underwent arthroscopy to regulate cartilage in his left knee. The treatment was carried out in Bordeaux by doctor Jambou. His return to action is an estimated three months."

Juventus also confirmed Fabio Grosso, Hasan Salihamizic and Giorgio Chiellini are all in doubt for Saturday's clash against Milan.

Grosso has a calf problem and will be out for at least ten days. Salihamidzic has a problem with his left thigh, and Chiellini is struggling with a knock to his left knee after Saturday's loss to Bologna.
