Sampdoria striker Massimo Maccarone has warned Inter he is eager to continue his scoring boom against them when the two sides clash at Marassi on Sunday.
All eyes will be on Giampaolo Pazzini's return to his former stomping ground, but the former Palermo hitman, who joined Sampdoria in January, is eager to prove his worth.
"I have already scored four goals against Julio Cesar, and I hope to repeat myself on Sunday," Maccarone told Il Secolo XIX.
"Pazzini? He is a great striker and you could see this from when he played for Fiorentina and then he exploded at Sampdoria."
The clash at the Luigi Ferraris is the Sunday night Serie A game, kicking off at 20:45 CET.
