Nicola Legrottaglie has joined Milan after signing a six-month deal.Statements confirming the deal appeared on the official websites of both clubs.
Juventus revealed a transfer request had been made by the player who had revealed his desire to move away on Sunday night.
Their statement reads: "Legrottaglie to Milan. Juventus Football Club communicates the club have decided to accept Nicola Legrottaglie's request and he has been transferred to Milan on a free deal."
Milan also confirmed the deal.
"A.C Milan communicates to have acquired on a permanent basis from Juventus FC the football Nicola Legrottaglie who signs a contract until June 30, 2011."
