Lazio are pondering a loan swoop for Arsenal's out of favour Dane, Nicklas Bendtner.
Despite his lack of first team opportunities with the Gunners, Bendtner has continued his impressive form with Denmark and now has a dilemma at club level to ensure he continues to be selected for the national team.
With a list of Robin Van Persie, Andrei Arshavin and Marouane Chamakh now in front of the big forward, to make the Danish squad he will need to move to find more playing time.
Lazio coach Edoardo Reja is looking to add another powerful forward with only Sergio Floccari fitting the bill to compliment the likes of Hernanes and Mauro Zarate.
Bendtner's contract will expire in 2014 and if the Rome club decide to make a deal permanent they will need to pay somewhere around the €10 million mark.
The 23-year-old Dane would be within the Italians' wage parameters and would be somewhat risk free, with the former Copenhagen forward already having Champions League experience.
However, Reja's men are also keeping tabs on a number of other strikers, such as Hugo Almeida of Werder Bremen and Manchester City's Roque Santa Cruz, according to Corriere dello Sport.
