Manchester United's Italian Youngster Federico Macheda Is Not Joining Juventus - Agent

Macheda is happy at Manchester United and is not going anywhere for now, the player's agent has claimed.
The agent of Federico Macheda has backed up previous reports that the Italian striker will not be leaving Manchester United during the coming transfer window, emphasising his player has no deal in place with Juventus.
The Old Lady were believed to be negotiating a swap deal with Manchester United to send Gianluigi Buffon to Old Trafford with a forward going the other way.

Giovanni Bia however, has put an end to any rumours that the forward involved will be 19-year-old Macheda.

"I don't know anything about it. I don't know if the two clubs have talked about it but no one has called me, neither from Manchester United nor Juventus," Bia told Calciomercato.

"For now I would rule out a move to Turin, but I don't think he [Macheda] is ready to come back at all. He is doing well in England and has no nostalgia for Italy. He is highly regarded at United and feels the confidence of [United manager Sir Alex] Ferguson, and he knows that he can only grow at such a prestigious club."

Macheda has played a more prominent role this season for the Red Devils and also got off the mark for Italy U-21s with a double against Turkey in the international friendly that took place this month.
