thumbnail Hello,

Francesco Totti claims he did not deserve to be sent off against Lecce.

Roma captain Francesco Totti has told club directors his sending-off against Lecce was unjust.

Totti saw red after raising a hand to Ruben Oliveira after he was tripped from behind.

Referee Andrea Gervasoni had no choice, but Totti maintains he did nothing wrong.

"I didn't do anything," he told directors, as reported by Il Corriere dello Sport.

"I did not slap anyone. I am innocent and I did not deserve a sending-off."

The sports judge will make his decision on Tuesday and it is expected Totti will be banned for the Rome derby against Lazio at the weekend.

However, Roma are likely to appeal a suspension with the hope of having their captain back for the key clash.
