Juventus Are Not Interested In Sampdoria's Antonio Cassano - Giuseppe Marotta
Juventus are not chasing Sampdoria's Antonio Cassano
By Salvatore Landolina
Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has distanced the club from rumours linking them with Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano.
Speculative reports suggested Juventus were behind Cassano's bust-up with Sampdoria after the club applied to have his contract terminated by the Lega Serie A.
But Marotta has emphasised the Italian international does not feature in the Old Lady's plans.
"I can say that Juventus are not behind this. Juventus have no intention of being disloyal towards Sampdoria," he told Mediaset.
"And Cassano is not part of our project. Therefore the voices are without foundation."
