Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is close to putting pen to paper on a 2015 contract extension, claims agent Davide Lippi.
A meeting between club and player is scheduled where they will finalise details of the new contract, believed to be worth around €3.2 million per annum.
"We are in agreement with Juventus and the deal is close," Lippi told Calciomercato.it.
"However, there are still some things which need to be discussed.
"Will the deal be announced after the Inter game? I don't know, we have not decided a date yet.
"For now I am going abroad, and there are no meetings scheduled with Juventus for today."
Of course, Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta is with the team in Manchester for their Europa League clash against City. President Andrea Agnelli is also at the City of Manchester Stadium.
