Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has told the press he expects to be back in action in just under two months.
The 20-year-old has only featured in one competitive game for the Citizens since joining from Inter in a reported €30 million move this summer, scoring a goal and picking up an injury in the 1-0 win over Timisoara in a Europa League qualifier.
The player underwent surgery on his knee in mid-September and commented on his recovery.
"It's going to be around six to eight weeks," he was quoted as saying by Reuters at Manchester airport.
"Everything is OK. I'm calm about it."
Therefore the Italian international could return in time to face Juventus on December 16 in the Europa League group stage.
