Roma's Marco Borriello To Be Dropped For Champions League Clash Against Cluj - Report

Claudio Ranieri poised to make a number of changes for the Champions League tie against Cluj.
Roma coach Claudio Ranieri will drop Marco Borriello for the Champions League clash against Cluj, but Adriano could feature.

Il Corriere dello Sport claims Borriello will be rested against the Romanian outfit, with Mirko Vucinic taking his place. The Montenegrin is likely to start alongside Francesco Totti.

The last-minute win against Inter on Saturday has given Roma a boost and they are expected to expand their horizons in Europe.

Adriano is also available and will be put to the service of Ranieri's side.

He may play the whole second half if Roma are comfortably ahead.

Ranieri has a long history of tinkering and his decision has been defended by captain Francesco Totti, who told Roma Channel: "It's not easy for a coach to work. When you have such a strong attack it is hard to decide.

"It's hard when a player has to come off when he is playing well."
