Claudio Ranieri blamed Roma’s inability to maintain possession as his side let go of a much needed three points against Bologna.
“The drop in focus could be attributed to the early substitutions,” he declared to SkySport.
“We are in a difficult moment but we mustn’t get downbeat.
“There were chances to see off the game today and we hit the woodwork on two occasions. Unfortunately we were a little inattentive to give away so much possession in the closing stages.
“We can’t go forward like this and work must be done to iron out our early season difficulties. Nevertheless this side is thick skinned and we have the ability to put things right and get back on track.”
