As Bologna’s Marco Di Vaio ruined Roma’s afternoon with a late eqauliser that denied the Lupi their first win of the season, the hitman praised his side’s team spirit as the key to coming back at the death.
“We played a good game,” he declared to SkySport after the game.
“Despite conceding early on we eventually got going and created a number of chances.
“The side showed great character as we never gave in during the 90 minutes.
“In the second half we came into the game in a big way and demonstrated a good physical condition in comparison to the opposition.
“This point is worth very much in terms of morale and we fully deserve this result for our efforts shown this afternoon.”
