Inter defender Lucio believes his side are stepping in the right direction following their 2-1 win over Udinese on Saturday.
The Nerazzurri are off the mark having recorded the first win of the campaign to alleviate mounting pressure on Rafael Benitez ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash at Twente.
Lucio opened the scoring after six minutes with a well taken strike, but his effort was cancelled out 24 minutes later by Antonio Floro Flores who headed in the equaliser.
But it was Samuel Eto'o who grabbed the winner in the second half after converting a penalty. And Lucio is delighted to have pockected the three points.
"Playing against Udinese is never easy, but I am happy for the three points. We have to continue with our heads high and work hard to get better game after game," Lucio told Mediaset Premium after the game.
"On Tuesday we have the Champions League. It's another competition, but we hope to get three points there as well."
