Parma's Antonio Candreva Impressed With His New Surroundings
Antonio Candreva is enjoying life at Parma right now...
By Rick D'Andrea
Candreva joined the Gialloblu on a season-long loan deal, with the club having the option to purchase half his playing contract from Udinese.
"My first impressions of my team-mates was positive, as they are all exceptional," the former Juventus player told Novantesimo.it. "They have all welcomed me and helped me settle in.
"The city is wonderful, even if I have not had the chance to see it all, as it is so big. This is a great place to showcase yourself and do well here. All the right elements can be found here.
"I hope it can be a positive year for me and my team-mates.
"I have already seen that the players want to do well this season, and can take on anybody. If I happen to do well here, I can then aim to play in the national team, but first I must demonstrate my worth here.
"I don't know where the coach [Pasquale Marino] will play me, or whether I will start, but all I can do is give it my all.
