Catania director Pietro Lo Monaco says the Rossazzurri must take all three points against Parma this weekend.

The Sicilian side suffered a 2-1 loss to Chievo on the opening matchday of the season, and Lo Monaco wants the team to bounce back against the Ducali on Sunday.

"I have a positive feeling about Catania this weekend," Lo Monaco revealed to Itasportpress.it. "The side is training well and against Parma, we must win.

"We cannot afford to be taking false steps forward."

The administrator was also surprised not one Elefanti player had been called up by Argentina coach Sergio Batista for the Albiceleste's friendly match against Spain.

"It does surprise me a little that not one player got called up because someone like [defender Matias] Silvestre could do very well in defence, and possibly even better than [Martin] Demichelis," stated the director.

"In the future, I hope someone like [Pablo] Barrientos can find himself in top physical form, and hopefully, he can wear the Argentina jersey."
